Last nite after 4 sessions of "Dance, Dance, Revolution" that erased our guilty after swallowed triple cheese hotdog and blizzard in Dairy Queen, me and hunny end our "journey thru places in the world" at Grand Indonesia by watched "No Country for Old Men" in Blitz.

He’s very curious about it, me? well, so-so lah, i expect more to this movie. it’s one of last year’s Jiffest Movies that i passed.

Starred by Tommy Lee Jones (Sheriff Ed Tom Bell), Javier Bardem (Anton Cigurh) and Josh Brolin (Llewelyn Moss), this four academy award winning movie is stunning and full of blood. yea, me don’t like it but the story was brilliant and i have to admit it’s very enjoyable eventhou i was occasionally close my eyes and scream in horor.

Llewelyn, a hunter stumbles on crime scene, dead bodies everywhere, a truck full of heroin and a dead man holding a bag contains cash US$ 2 Million.

Llewelyn, took the money and that his curse. the scary version of Cat and Mouse game is begin and i keep on jumping on my seat.

Anton Cigurh a cold blooded murder who killed not because he have to but because he wanted to, chase Llewelyn all over Texas, and left dead bodies everywhere. Meanwhile, an about to retire old Sheriff, Ed Tom, working on solving the mistery while dealing with the fact that everything change and world are meaner.

i won’t spoiled the story for you, you have to watch it yourself, but i do have one dissapointment in this movie, as a person who love to straight-talking, and prefer to confront the obstacle i’m a bit unsatisfied with the Sheriff-Murderer relationship. if you watched it then you know what i mean.

But, i love! Love..Love Javier Bardem! Man, he’s the new generation of "hannibal Lecter" a full of style and playful murderer. Not blindly rude, he also have that dangerous good manner and politeness that makes him even more scary. He really deserves that ACADEMY AWARD!

Hari minggu lalu, G, Frans & Indah nonton Nim’s Island.

sejak liat trailernya beberapa waktu lalu g udah kebelet banget pengen nonton film ini. I always have sumthin for Abigail Breslin since "Raising Helen" and i don’t have to tell you about "Little Miss Sunshine" oh, that girl is sumthing.

what encouraged me even more is Jodie Foster and Gerard Butler, well Gerard will always be "Gerry" (P.S I Love You) the to-die-for-husband to me.

Nim’s Island is a magical place far away in Asiatic Ocean. Living in this remote island since toddler with her scientist dad doesn’t made her a loner. She have bunch lively animal friends (seriously, the animals made me laugh most of the time) and her passion for the series of "The Adventure of Alex Rover" books.

One day, Nim’s father lost in the sea and Nim, whose left alone in the island, send out email to her favorit Hero, Alex Rover for help.

But what Nim thought as an adventurous and daring Alex Rover is actually an agrophobic writer who locked in her apartment and live thru delivery service. Alexandra Rover, lives vicarously thru her "Adventure of Alex Rover" books.

A cry for help, from a girl who lost her dad in a remote island has moved her humanity and dragged her out of the comfort zone and take thousand miles with Plane, small plane, helicopter and boat to reach Nim.

I’m very excited when realised that Alexandra actually fly to Borneo Kalimantan on the first commercial flight, she carelessly bump into a man in Kalimantan airport and dropped book stand which accidentally shows "Petualangan Alex Rover" Yea!!! hihihii yes, in Bahasa. wasn’t it cool?!

there’s a lot of good conversation in the movie and i love the idea of raising child in nature. Nim doesn’t have Lego, Playstation and TV. She plays with coconut tree, white sand beach, swim with her Sea LIon friend and share excitement on soccer with the sea lion and the Fred the lizzard. She also very cheerful, always find happiness in small things. it’s a very insightful for us on how educate the child. nowadays, parent seems to thought that take the child to dine in fast food chains once in the weekend is a moment to remember for the child.

Go to cinema now, take your kids, nephew, niece, lil sister/brother, whoever to see this eye-dazzling woundrous adventure!

udah lama pengen nulis ini.

pernah gak punya temen yang doyan banget ngikutin gaya kamu, mulai dari baju, sepatu, gadget, aksesoris, make-up sampe beli barang2 gak penting yang sama dengan kamu?

how do you feel about that?

g beberapa kali ngalamin, ada yang temen akrab, ada juga yang temen biasa. at first, sih lucu2 aja ya, punya baju samaan ya asal gak pas g pake, dia pake juga emangnya anak panti asuhan kembaran.

lama-lama sebel juga, lebih jauh lagi… jadi agak-agak … aneh dan cenderung nakutin.

kalo kata adek g sih, anggep aja g ini trendsetter hihihih apa yang g pake bikin orang pengen. yuk mareeeh…. itu kalo masih yang lucu2an jek. tapi kalo udah nyaris semua diikutin, tanda tanya gak sih?

yang paling ekstrem, pernah g dikasih cincin sama co gw, all of sudden, the copycat beli cincin juga (beli ndri jek, niat banget) trus made up story about it. yuk yak yuuk…. psycho gak sih. sejak itu g gak pake cincinnya dan didepan dia paling males ketahuan punya barang apa, karena pasti dia langsung kekeh marikeh bela-belain beli barang yang sama. daripada g ikut nanggung dosa yang dia lakuin untuk beli barang-barang itu, mendingan g keep it low aja deh.

ya sisi menyenangkannya sih, ternyata g ini cukup diidolakan ya sama dia, masih ditiru-tiru, apa yang g punya dia pengenin ampe segitunya. hihihihihih

Watched this movie sometimes last week with Dadi at Blitz Megaplex, Pacific Place. been trying to write a proper review, but things at work always distract me.

Adapted from a french memoir, " Le Schapandre et le Papillon" written by former french Elle Editor-In-Chief Jean-Dominique Bauby.

Jean-Do was living in a good life to the extreme when suddenly in 1995 he became the victim of cerebrovascular accident that cost him a total paralysis. he also incapable of any verbal communication.

The worst part of the accident for Jean-Do was how will he ever made up everything he owe to everyone he loved.

regret.

he felt that he didin’t say  a lot of "sorry" to his ex-wife, didn’t say "i love you" much to his childs, didn’t embrace his lover the way she needs it, didn’t take care of his dad the way he supposed to be.

he struggled to learn comunicating using his eyelids to spell the word, letter by letter with the help of team of therapists in Marine Hospital of Berck-Sur-Mer in Northern France.

Bauby then was able to compose, letter by letter, a lyrical and heartbreaking memoir of his life struggle. Bauby died fourteen months after his accident, two days after the memoir publication.

from the first scene, audience will understand why he named it The Diving Bell, we are feeling like we’re inside the diving bell, left alone deep in the dark blue see. noone will hear every single word we say, even when we scream out loud, to say how much we love them, how much we appreciate every beauty things the brought to our life.

up to you, but to me, i won’t wait to be inside "the diving bell" to realise how beautiful my life is, and live to the fullest.

cerita soal bolos bersama jumat lalu belum g posting hehehehe…

gak deng, sebnernya cuti bersama :p yang bolos itu novi tuh, dan sebagai ganjarannya dia dapet telepon terus menerus, untung teleponnya gak pas di Kora-kora.

Jumat, 18 April lalu, g dengan gegap gempitanya dijemput Alin pagi-pagi trus nyamper Novi di Pasar Festival dan kami menuju Dufan!!! horeeee….!! kalah deh anak2 smp field trip sama ramenya kita bertiga.

mulai dari tancap gas sampe dufan cekikikan, lebay2an dan foto2 gak penting (blur juga hasilnya hihihihi)

oiya, sebelum nyampe dufan kita belok kiri dulu ke Sunter. nengok kantornya Alin nun jauh di sunter sana. hihihii tak lupa makan dulu.

daerah situ mirip banget sama daerah greenville ya, banjirnya juga sama tuh :p

sampe dufan, dengan jedangnya kita menemukan fakta baru, bahwa dufan hari jumat buka jam 1.30. sumpeh lo!

akhirnya kita melipir ke pantai, ya kalo ancol masih bisa disebut pantai ya, semen melulu, mana pasirnya.

setelah sunbathing campur polusinya cukup kita balik lagi ke Dufan, dan nunggu di starbuck ajah. finally, civilization.

gak terlalu banyak games yang g ambil kmren. ternyata emang umur ngaruh ya boooo. dulu kora-kora, kicir2, halilintar dan pontang-panting (bukan ontang anting ya, g benci ama game satu ini, gak safe banget) dinaekin dalam satu batch.

sekarang, wah…. naek kora2 masih ktawa2 kayak orang gila, mo naek tornado weh…meski gak separah muter2nya kicir2 tapi g gak suka bagian ditebalikin lamanya itu, bisa gila g.

akhirnya melipir ke kicir2. dan bner dong, turunnya g rada kliyengan.

and i’m glad that i’m wise enough to take a break, wandering around taking pics of people. sementara alin dan novi dengan nekatnya naek ontang-anting. hasilnya, ada yang teler berat sampe menggeletak. hihihihihi

setelah itu, ke perang bintang, nah ini rada absurd, secara g gak jelas mana musuh yang kudu ditembak dan bukan, g tembakin aja semuanya yang keliatan bermuka aneh dan menyebalkan.

dari situ basah2an di arung jeram. bo, basahnya lebih bikin jerit daripada adrenalinnya.

terakhir kita ke extreme log deh, dimana novi dapet karmanya. sebelumnya di Arung jeram dia marahin anak smp yang nyelak2 antrian, eh di extreme log dia dimarahin ibu2 karena hal yang sama.

g sama alin yang udah nun jauh di depan antrian, cuma bisa ketawa-ketawa sambil nge-dubbing in adegan lucu antara Novi VS Mami Ok itu.

pulangnya Novi duluan krn mo ke kampus, g ama alin balik ke pantai di samping Segarra. curhat (alin) dan ngomongin buku (gue).

akhirnya kita pulang deh, setelah tak lupa men-charge batere sosial kita dengan mampir ke Kelapa Gading Mall hihihihi.

nyampe rumah g langsung mandi bo…gile lepek banget.

bner bo, chuan-whoever-his-name meninggal karena radang otak di episod 19.

yang rada aneh….

g ngerasa penulis skenarionya di awal cerita juga masih bingung sapa yang mo "dibunuh" dan kenapa meninggalnya.

dari awal, ada indikasi Na In Jung punya penyakit di perut yang entah apa. trus si Chuan ini sering banget sesak nafas, ya sodara2 please pay attention to this details.

Chuan itu sering sesak nafas, dan berualng kali megang dada kiri dengan ekspresi kesakitan. which I, simply conclude, dia punya sakit jantung. diperkuat lagi, di seri keberapa gitu dia pingsan dibawa ke rumah sakit trus dokter bilang ada kelainan di jantungnya.

nah, jelas dong.

eh, tau-tau di seri2 akhir, yang dipegang bukan dada lagi bo, tapi kpala, dengan ekspresi kesakitan yang amat sangat.

bo, i think i miss sumthing.

tapi, ya mungkin penulis skenarionya berfikir, meninggal karena sakit dengan proses yang lama akan lebih melodramatis.

kalo radang otak, ada proses pingsan2nya aja dulu.

jadi mungkin para penulis skenarionya ngobrol:

Penulis 1: "Man, kalo ini orang kita "matiin" dengan sakit jantung, kan bisa meninggal mendadak, lebih shocking kan?"

Penulis 2: "Wah, gak seru dong, kalo sakitnya yang pake berobat di rumah sakit lama kan cerita bisa dikembangkan. Pan lumayan, bisa satu episod sendiri tuh."

Penulis 1: "bner juga lo cuy, g juga rada mampet nih, secara ini serial kudu 20 episod, lah kita baru di 17 aja gitu."

Penulis 2: "makanya, deal ya, radang otak aja."

Penulis 1:" Yo’i, tapi jek, episod2 lalu kan dia kesakitannya remas2 dada gitu, apa penontong gak bakal curigation."

Penulis 2: "Ah, lo tenang aja, asal kematiannya sedih dan bikin orang nangis gerung-gerung, semua gimmick termaafkan. percaya dah ama g."

Penulis 1: "gitu ya jek, siplah kalo gitu. nyok, kita kasih tau pemerannya chuan, kalo kesakitan jangan megang dada lagi, tapi jambak2 rambut ajah."

Penulis 2: "Yuk mareeeh."

sebagai salah satu penggemar film korea yang juga hobi nangis gerung-gerung, i’ve should have seen it coming. well, i did! hihihiih

dan satu lagi, ujung2nya Na In Jung sama Yong Gi jadian aja gitu, gak pake kabur kmana2. booo, dari episod 10 aje kalo gitu. duh, g jahat banget sih.

sumpah, sekali-sekalinya g kagak nangis ntn film Korea, ya nonton film ini.
